Catherine Bronger is well-known in the community pharmacy industry as a passionate advocate for the profession in which she grew up, as the daughter of two community pharmacists in southwest Sydney. Catherine's pharmacies have always pushed the boundaries of mainstream pharmacy with the pioneering of Sleep Apnoea Clinics, Compounding Laboratories, Health Food Stores and Diabetes Clinics. Catherine spends her time growing her workforce of over 200-plus employees and advocating for community pharmacies as Senior Vice President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia (NSW). As Chair of the NSW Scope of Practice Subcommittee, she is keen to soon undertake the change she has been seeking.

Dr Sarah Dineen-Griffin is a full-time teaching and research academic in the School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy at the University of Newcastle. A registered pharmacist, Sarah’s expertise lies in community pharmacy consultation services, minor ailments, self-care and optimising scope of practice as part of primary health care. Sarah has led national and international pharmacy research projects and published extensively. She was Chief Investigator on the first trial of an innovative community pharmacy Minor Ailments Scheme and is leading two high profile research grants which involve the implementation and evaluation of the state-wide roll out of expanded scope of practice for pharmacists in New South Wales. Internationally, Sarah has been elected to the International Pharmaceutical Federation’s Community Pharmacy executive committee and is an editorial board member for two international pharmacy journals. In 2022, Sarah was awarded an International Excellence Award for Women in Science in Education from FIP.

Judy Plunkett is a National Councillor for The Pharmacy Guild of Australia and Vice President of the Guild’s New South Wales Branch. Judy has been a community pharmacy owner for 40 years and owns pharmacies in Port Macquarie and Wauchope. She is a strong advocate for community pharmacies especially in rural and regional areas, and for female pharmacy ownership.

Adele Tahan is an accomplished pharmacist with over 20 years’ experience owning and running multiple pharmacies simultaneously. For the past 18 years, Adele and her team at Adore Compounding Pharmacy have been serving the local community, delivering services such as complex compounding, vaccination, medication reviews, disease state management and dose administration aids. Adele is a National Councillor for The Pharmacy Guild of Australia and Vice President of the Guild’s New South Wales Branch. She is also a member of numerous community health related committees, is an academic board member of AHSI and is involved in healthcare education. Adele is currently a candidate for Master of Public Health specialising in Health economics.

Mignon Van Der Walt has spent the past 15 years of her life crafting a career in pharmaceuticals across different continents and in a variety of sales and marketing management positions. Mignon played active roles during times of historic industry shift, such as codeine scheduling, and has more recently been involved in creating the Arrotex consumer portfolio. An MBA graduate, Mignon is the National Business Manager at Arrotex, where she is fiercely passionate about providing young females with a stepping-stone to thrive in industry.
