Megan Zabell graduated from the University of Melbourne as a therapeutically endorsed optometrist and later returned to complete her Master of Clinical Optometry. She worked in a private optometry practice for seven years and has taught preclinical optometry at the University of Melbourne. Megan is passionate about the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye, as well as fitting contact lenses, which is what drew her to join Alcon Vision Care’s Professional Affairs Team in 2018. She is currently Alcon’s Professional Education and Development Manager. As well as working for Alcon, Megan is a sessional optometrist for the Australian College of Optometry, where she undertakes outreach trips with the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
